Turkey’s Oldest Veteran Dies At 99

Retired Colonel Ali Cesuroğlu, Turkey’s oldest veteran, who served in the Korean and Cyprus wars, died at the age of 99.

Retired Colonel Ali Cesuroglu, Head of the Kastamonu Branch of the Combat Veterans Association, who participated in the Korean and Cyprus wars and is the oldest living veteran of Turkey, passed away at the age of 99.

30 YEARS MILITARY JUDGE

Cesuroglu, who served as a military judge in the Turkish Armed Forces for 30 years and witnessed many historical events, will be buried in the Memorial Cemetery after the funeral prayer that will be held at the Nasrullah Mosque tomorrow after the noon prayer.
