Dua Lipa’s Wax Figure Opened At Madame Tussauds Istanbul

The wax figure of Albanian-born British singer Dua Lipa opened at Madame Tussauds Istanbul.

The wax figure of Grammy award-winning singer, songwriter and model Dua Lipa was added to the collection of Madame Tussauds Istanbul in Beyoğlu.

Merlin Turkey General Manager Tankut Tonger made a statement after the opening, pointing to the successes in Dua Lipa’s career and said, “She is a highly acclaimed artist who has occupied the music agenda in the world for about 15 years. She starts her career as a model. Then she becomes a songwriter and singer. She is a Grammy award winning lady. In other words, she fascinates us with her talents as well as her beauty.”

Dua Lipa’s wax figure was created after about a year of work. Special permission was obtained from the artist’s team in the US for styling. Released on May 3 ahead of her upcoming album “Radical Optimism”, the wax figure was unveiled at the launch event at Madame Tussauds Istanbul.

The museum, where the figures of famous and important figures from music to cinema, sports to state administrators, including Mustafa Kemal Atatürk, Fatih Sultan Mehmet, Mevlana, Angelina Jolie, Brad Pitt, Beren Saat, Kıvanç Tatlıtuğ, Justin Bieber, Beyonce and Michael Jackson can be seen, can be visited between 11.00-19.00 every day.
