Today, when it has become popular for phone makers to come up with electric cars, some automobile manufacturers are also entering the phone industry. Polestar’s first smartphone: Polestar Phone is the first smartphone from Polestar.
If you think Polestar Phone is familiar to me from somewhere, this is normal because it was not produced from scratch. It is based on the Meizu 21 Pro model that was introduced in February. This is not a coincidence, as both Polestar and Meizu belong to the Chinese automobile giant Geely.
Polestar Phone Features
The phone’s design, which is described as “extreme simplicity and luxurious Scandinavian design aesthetics”, is really quite elegant. While the vertical positioning of the lenses on the back is one of the details we are not used to, white color is the only color option offered.
Powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processor, the Polestar Phone features a 6.79-inch display manufactured by BOE with a brightness of 1850 nits. This LTPO OLED display offers a resolution of 1368×3192 pixels and a refresh rate of 120 Hz, and is also home to a fingerprint reader.
The phone comes with 16 GB of RAM and 1 TB of storage, with a 50 Megapixel main, 13 Megapixel ultra-wide and 10 Megapixel telephoto camera on the back. There is a 32 Megapixel camera on the front.
The phone, which has a 5050 mAh capacity battery with 80W wired and 50W wireless charging support, measures 164.98 x 74.42 x 7.98 mm and weighs 214 grams. In addition to these, Polestar Phone, which has IP68 certification, of course has a tight integration with the brand’s tools.
