Turkish Airlines (THY) Chairman of the Board and Executive Committee Prof. Dr. Ahmet Bolat had previously stated that as a company in the earthquake zone, they would build a thousand houses in a year.

As BAYKAR, we are donating 1000 houses in coordination with AFAD in order to support the solution of the permanent shelter needs of our brothers and sisters in disasters. We will heal our wounds together with one heart.” he used the phrases.
Bayraktar, in his video message from Kahramanmaras, said, “We were shaken by two very big earthquakes and a very big disaster. Our whole nation mobilized back to back with the state to heal the wounds of the disaster; it showed great effort and continues to do so.” he said.

Bayraktar, who underlined that the unsung heroes who struggled with their souls in the cold, snow and winter at the head of the debris showed their greatest efforts, said, “As a son of this nation, God bless them all. I convey my wishes . From this point on, one of the most important needs is new living spaces for our people who lost their homes in the earthquake. And the construction of residential areas is coming. Of course, in this process, I hope we are implementing Baykar Container City, which will provide shelter to two thousand of our brothers, in coordination with AFAD, in order to be a temporary living space.” he said.
Baykar General Manager Haluk Bayraktar said on his social media account, “We started the #KonutSeferberliği for the shelter needs of our citizens in earthquake zones. We are donating 1000 houses.” shared.
