3- Maden Stream

Maden Stream is a natural wonder with an altitude of 317 meters located in the Karasu district of Sakarya. Maden Creek is surrounded by ponds, forests and waterfalls. It is located approximately 200 km from Istanbul, 70 km from Sakarya city center and 115 km from Kocaeli. In the past, it took this name as a result of the mining activities of the French. In the region, which still bears the traces of the mining history, there is a historical embankment built with cut stone behind the waterfall. This set visually evokes a historical feeling.
