South Korean technology giant Samsung shared an update news that will make Galaxy Note 20 users very happy.
Samsung Galaxy Note 20 and Note 20 Ultra users can enjoy enhanced security features with the April 2023 security patch update in the United States. Firmware version N98xU1UES4HWC9 brings more than 60 security fixes that address potential vulnerabilities in phones, making devices more secure from potential cyber attacks.
Carrier locked units have not yet received the update, but unlocked versions of both the Note 20 and Note 20 Ultra now have access to the new update. Users can download and install the latest update by going to Settings » Software update. Also, this version is available in Samsung’s software database for manual update.
Samsung announced the update for 2 popular models!
While the new update does not bring new features, it may include stability improvements and other minor bug fixes. Samsung had released the One UI 5.1 update a few months ago, including several new features and improvements.
The Galaxy Note 20 series first came out of the box with Android 10, and users then received Android OS updates such as Android 11, 12 and 13. This latest security patch highlights Samsung’s commitment to keeping their devices up to date with the latest security protocols and aims to provide users with a secure mobile experience. This will be seen as proof that the South Korean technology giant keeps its promise to its users.
