New Charging Socket of Apple iPhone 15 Pro!

Apple will begin to comply with the decision of market regulators with the new iPhones this year. In this context, a newly leaked image reveals the new charging socket of the iPhone 15 Pro.

One of the biggest leaks about the iPhone 15 Pro and iPhone 15 Pro Max may have emerged. According to the official decision taken by European regulators, Apple has to use the USB-C socket, which is standard on new iPhones. A newly leaked render image also shows that Apple is saying goodbye to the Lightning port.

New iPhone, New Charging Socket

Although there are still months to go for the iPhone 15 series, the leaks of the new iPhone have accelerated. However, the new USB-C socket appears in a render image that is said to belong to the iPhone 15 Pro. Apple has already started to use USB-C ports on some of its devices instead of Lightning. Therefore, it is not a surprise to see the USB-C port on the iPhone 15 Pro, as there is already pressure from the legal regulators on this issue for the company.

It looks like the controller of the interface will be replaced along with USB-C. According to the statements, the iPhone 15 Pro will have the new E85 port controller instead of the E75. What this controller will offer is unclear for now, but it is likely that the iPhone 15 Pro and iPhone 15 Pro Max will support data transfer and optimal charging only through certified accessories. In other words, the iPhone 15 should not be expected to be compatible with every cable. On the other hand, it is said that the iPhone 15 Pro models will also have Thunderbolt 3 support.

The body of the iPhone 15 Pro also looks like a brushed surface, which reinforces Apple’s claims that it will switch from stainless steel to titanium. On the other hand, the European Union has decided that companies like Apple will switch to USB-C for all their products by 2024. The reason for this is expressed as meeting a certain standard and removing cable glare.
