How Many People Are Marking Your Tweets?

Twitter has announced that it has added a feature to the tweet details on iOS that shows the total number of flags a tweet has been marked. Details are here!

One of the things the new management at Twitter loves is metrics, and starting today they’re expanding the visibility of one more feature.

In a tweet from the Twitter Support account, the company announced that starting today, you can see the total number of flags of a tweet in the tweet details on iOS. So if you want to see how many people have replied to, retweeted, viewed and bookmarked your tweets, you can now see them all.

Twitter Now Shows Bookmark Counts of Tweets

The company noted that while users can see how many times a tweet has been bookmarked, they cannot see exactly who bookmarked the tweet. Twitter Support explains: “We only show the total number of bookmarks, not specific accounts that have bookmarked a tweet.”

Twitter had recently expanded the number of metrics shown in tweets. Some users were happy with it, while others complained about how cluttered the UI was. It’s clear that the company is in favor of the first group to add their own touchstones to this mess.

The company says bookmark metrics is currently only available in the Twitter app for iOS. It hasn’t been given a timeline for exactly when the feature will appear on Twitter for Android or on the web, though it says it has “expansion plans” to other platforms.
