Demonstrations that started in Iran after the death of 22-year-old Mahsa Emini after she was detained on the grounds that “she did not comply with the headscarf rules” continue. 2 people lost their lives in Kermanshah province, 25 people were injured.
According to the news of Iranian state television, Kermanshah Chief Prosecutor Shahram Keremi said that public properties were destroyed during the demonstrations held in the province yesterday evening.
Explaining that two people were killed yesterday during the demonstrations in Kermanshah, Keremi said, “The investigations show that it was definitely carried out by the rebels, because they were killed with weapons that were not in the inventory of the security and military forces.” said.
Keremi announced that 25 people, including a policeman, were injured during the demonstrations.
If the people of Iran want to stop women from being beaten to death for not wearing a head scarf, it is up to them to do something about it. If they want to stop being arrested, tortured and shot by the IRGC when they protest against their leadership, it is again up to them to do something about it. It is their country. They ousted the Shah in 1979 thinking they would have a better life but in reality they went from the frying pan into the fire. Why should any other country intervene? They put the yoke around their own necks so let them get it off.
