It seems to end if nothing can be done for unknown calls, which is one of the biggest complaints of WhatsApp users.
A new option to automatically mute unknown calls is now available for WhatsApp users. Specially designed to prevent spam, fraud and calls from unknown people, the new feature offers more protection and convenience.
The new feature can be enabled in the Calls section in the Privacy tab, and if enabled, all calls from unknown numbers will now be silenced. In case you recognize one of the numbers or know it belongs to someone important, it will still appear in the Call list.

New Privacy Control Feature Now Available
WhatsApp has announced that it has implemented the Privacy Control feature, as well as the Mute Unknown Calls feature. This feature provides a step-by-step tutorial aimed at guiding the user through basic privacy settings and introducing them to specific levels of protection.
WhatsApp users can now browse through multiple privacy options that increase the security of messages, calls and personal information by selecting “Start check” from their Privacy settings.
These two new features are available to all WhatsApp users worldwide, but make sure to update your app to the latest version before trying to use any of them.
