Twitter Sued For Not Paying Rent
Twitter has been coming up with interesting claims lately. It was reported that the company was sued for not paying the rent of the building where its headquarters is located in San Francisco.
Elon Musk, Senior Manager of Tesla and SpaceX, made an interesting claim after buying social media company Twitter for $ 44 billion.
According to Bloomberg’s report, Twitter was sued for not paying the renton the company building.
The California Property Trust, the owner of the building where its headquarters is located, sued Twitter for not paying $136,000 inrent.
In the news, it was stated that the California Property Trust notified Twitter that it would default on the contract if the rent was not paid on December 16, but Musk’s company did not comply.
Also, the New York Times recently reported that Twitter has stopped paying rent in global offices to save costs.
It was also stated that Elon Musk brought in a large number of lawyers from SpaceX to strengthen Twitter’s legal team.
