The aim of Bolu Abant Izzet Baysal University; To educate qualified generations that will serve the development of humanity by teaching at universal standards, to produce information and technology that will contribute to the development of the country and to provide the social services that the country needs in the best way.

BAIBU has campuses in Bolu city center and five districts (Gerede, Mengen, Mudurnu, Yenicaga and Seben).

Izzet Baysal Campus (main campus)

Izzet Baysal Campus is the main campus of Bolu Abant Izzet Baysal University and it is located in Golkoy, 8 km from the city center. In other words, it is located in a unique natural beauty. It is possible to commune with the nature in this campus. Many Faculties are located at Izzet Baysal campus such as; Faculty of Science and Letters, Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences, Faculty of Education,

Transportation

Transportation in the city is provided by municipal buses. Transportation from the city center to the campus is provided by the buses of Bolu Municipality. The journey between the city center and the Central Campus takes 25 minutes. There is a vehicle every 30 minutes until 11.00 pm every day of the week.

Accommodation:

There are several options that students can prefer for accommodation in Bolu. If you study in the main campus, there are many dormitories in the city center. There are dormitories for girls on the campus. Also, the Guesthouse can be among the options, which was built as a gift to the Bolu Abant Izzet Baysal University by the Izzet Baysal Foundation in 1993. The Guesthouse, which matches all facilities expected from a city or resort hotel, is 4km away from the city center and İstanbul-Ankara D100 highway. It provides the facilities of free wireless internet, early check-in and late check-out, safe in private rooms, a medium-sized meeting room for private meetings, outdoor parking and 24 hour hot water. If you study at one of the campuses in the districts, there are also many other options that you can prefer in Mengen,Gerede, Mudurnu, Yenicaga and Seben.

Prep. School:

Preparatory class trainings at Bolu Abant Izzet Baysal University are given in the foreign languages section of Izzet Baysal Campus. It offers Compulsory English, Professional English, Academic English, English for Improving Literacy and Advanced English in order to improve the language skills of the students enrolled in university faculties and colleges. It also offers German, French and Spanish lessons for the students who want to improve their foreign language skills in different languages.

The Library:

Bolu Abant Izzet Baysal University Central (Prof. Dr. Fuat Sezgin) Library started to serve in its new building in order to support education and research activities since 2002. It is aimed that all kinds of information that students of the university, academic and administrative staff need and present them to users in the best way.
