The Main Campus:

Yozgat Bozok University Campus

Erdogan Akdag Campus is the main campus of Yozgat Bozok University. It is Erdogan Akdag Campus located on an area of 4.100 decares at the 7th km of Ataturk Road in Yozgat Center. Twelve faculties, three institutes, five colleges, a vocational school, three departments under the rectorate, sixteen centers, a central laboratory, Bozok Technopark Research and Application Hospital, a congress center, two mosques, a guest house, dormitories affiliated with the Credit and Hostels Institution in the central campus.

Accommadation:

Yozgat Bozok University Dormitory

Many student dormitories affiliated with the Higher Education Credit and Hostels Institution serve the students of the Yozgat Bozok University. The girls’ dormitory with a capacity of 1000 people and a male student dormitory with a capacity of 500 people in the Erdogan Akdag Campus also serve with Kizilay Male Student Dormitory of 350 people located near Erdogan Akdag Campus. In addition, the dormitories for boys and girls in Esentepe with a total capacity of 900 students provide accommodation for the students. All dormitories have central heating and bathrooms, and there are also facilities to meet social needs in the buildings. Apart from these, our students can also stay in private dormitories and also find the opportunity to rent a house in the city center.

Transportation:

Yozgat Bozok University Campus is located 10 km from Yozgat city center. Transportation from the city center to the university campus is provided by municipal buses and local minibuses.

Prep. School:

School of Foreign Languages was established on April 8, 2016. The Foreign Languages Department affiliated to the Rectorate was closed and the staff of 10 academic staff working in the department transferred to the School. A total of 11 faculty members are working. The school is currently located in the Faculty of Engineering and Architecture (3rd floor) building of Yozgat Bozok University.

The Library:

As of 2020, there are 44,000 printed books, 2012 graduation thesis and 300 audiovisual materials in the collection of Yozgat Bozok University Central Library. All of the printed books can be scanned on the internet, and all books, except for reference resources, are borrowed to university students and staff. It continues the library studies in the new building with a capacity of 400 people in a total area of 6076 m2, which includes the General Reading Room, Computer Room, User Lounge, Periodicals Hall, Audio-Visual Material Hall and Single Study Rooms. Yozgat Bozok University Central Library provides electronic journal and electronic book service to support the scientific research of academicians. The number of electronic resources that can be used on campus and through remote access has increased significantly, especially in 2020.
