Skoda will include the smart grille in its future cars to reduce the number of accidents.
In recent years, the automobile industry has been using different technologies. Now, the so-called smart devices are attracting the attention of users.
Skoda engineers started working on the Smart Grille project. Within the framework of the project in question, the number of accidents on the roads will be reduced with the smart grid system.
The digital grille with LED strips will be visible to roadside pedestrians. Animated messages will be displayed on the screen in question.
Smart Grid Will Message Pedestrians
When a car approaches the crosswalk, green arrows will appear on the smart grid. In this way, pedestrians will be given the message that the herd has noticed them and will be told that they can cross the road.
On the other hand, if the vehicle is too fast to stop at the crosswalk, the smart grid will display a red triangle alert to notify people waiting on the side of the road.
Along with all this, the smart grid system will take its place in Skoda models in the coming years.
