A new feature comes into play for groups that have been forgotten in the WhatsApp application. Users can now set the disappearance time in the group settings.
WhatsApp, which brought the disappearing messages feature in the past years, is now working on the disappearing groups feature. Disappearing Groups are getting ahead of the forgotten groups in the corner.
WhatsApp Disappearing Groups
According to the information revealed in the WhatsApp beta codes, an option is added to the Group settings that can determine the extinction time. Users can set a fixed day of 1 day or 1 week, as well as a special time interval. Again, completely canceling the disappearing feature is among the options.
Disappearing group identification is private only. Messages from the user who set this will disappear from the group. If other users have not set a time, their messages continue. It can be a good option for cleaning forgotten groups at the bottom of the list, especially after they have not been used for a long time.
