Little Boy Waiting To Be Rescued Under the Rubble

After the 7.7 and 7.6 magnitude earthquakes that occurred in Kahramanmaraş, the little boy left under the rubble in Hatay is waiting to be rescued. It was stated that the child, whose mother and father were under the rubble, could not speak due to the shock he experienced.

A small child is waiting to be rescued, who was trapped under the building that was destroyed in the Antakya district of Hatay in the earthquake that occurred in Kahramanmaraş and affected 10 provinces.

In Hatay, which was hit by two major earthquakes in Kahramanmaraş, approximately 1200 buildings were destroyed in the city center and the districts of Kırıkhan and İskenderun. In the central district of Antakya, all the houses in the Cebrail District, where 40-50 years old structures are located, almost completely collapsed, and many people were left under the rubble.

Citizens mobilized for the 7-8-year-old Syrian child, who was under rubble from the waist down. The child, whose mother and father were also said to be under the rubble, could not speak due to the shock he experienced.

Despite all efforts, the child who was under the concrete block could not be saved. Thereupon, the citizens wrapped the child in a quilt so that he would not get cold at night, put a beret on his head, and left a plastic bottle of water next to him to drink when he was thirsty.

Today, with the first light of the morning, search and rescue efforts started again in other regions, but the teams have not yet reached Gabriel Neighborhood. The little boy is waiting to be rescued.

In the meantime, electricity, water, natural gas and internet services are not provided in the region where thousands of buildings were destroyed.
