Car Prices in Turkey (October 2022)

Hello everyone, today we will take a look at car purchase prices and rental prices in Turkey.

New SCT Rates by Vehicle Type

With the Presidential Decision dated 12 January 2022 and numbered 5096, it was decided to change the amounts and rates in the list no. Attached to the Special Consumption Tax Law No. II. 4760 is as follows.

For vehicles with an engine displacement of less than 1600 m3:

• 45% for vehicles with a SCT base below 120 thousand TL
• 50% for those whose SCT base is between 120 thousand TL and 150 thousand TL
• Those whose SCT base is between 150 thousand TL and 175 thousand TL 60%
• 70% for those whose SCT base is between 175 thousand TL and 200 thousand TL
• 80% for those with an SCT base of 200 thousand TL or more
• 45% for those whose engine cylinder volume is between 1600 m3 and 1800 m3 and whose SCT base does not exceed 130 thousand TL
• 50% for those whose engine cylinder volume is between 1600 m3 and 1800 m3 and whose SCT base is between 130 thousand TL and 210 thousand TL,
• 80% for those whose engine cylinder volume is between 1600 m3 and 1800 m3 and whose SCT base is 210 thousand TL or more.
• 130% for those whose engine cylinder volume is between 1800 m3 and 2000 m3 and whose SCT base is below 170 thousand TL
• 150% for those whose engine cylinder volume is between 1800 m3 and 2000 m3 and whose SCT base is above 170 thousand TL.
• 220% for engine cylinders over 2000 m3
• 45% for vehicles with a SCT base below 120 thousand TL
• 50% for those whose SCT base is between 120 thousand TL and 150 thousand TL
• Those whose SCT base is between 150 thousand TL and 175 thousand TL 60%
• 70% for those whose SCT base is between 175 thousand TL and 200 thousand TL
• 80% for those with an SCT base of 200 thousand TL or more
• 45% for those whose engine cylinder volume is between 1600 m3 and 1800 m3 and whose SCT base does not exceed 130 thousand TL
• 50% for those whose engine cylinder volume is between 1600 m3 and 1800 m3 and whose SCT base is between 130 thousand TL and 210 thousand TL,
• 80% for those whose engine cylinder volume is between 1600 m3 and 1800 m3 and whose SCT base is 210 thousand TL or more.
• 130% for those whose engine cylinder volume is between 1800 m3 and 2000 m3 and whose SCT base is below 170 thousand TL
• 150% for those whose engine cylinder volume is between 1800 m3 and 2000 m3 and whose SCT base is above 170 thousand TL.
• 220% for engine cylinders over 2000 m3
