Can Unvaccinated Foreigners Travel Intercity in Turkey?

As is known, as of September 6, 2021, according to the circular published by the Ministry of Interior, PCR testing or vaccination was required for mass events and intercity travel. As of this date, foreigners in Turkey, just like Turkish citizens, must obtain a negative PCR test or vaccination card if they will travel between cities or participate in a collective event within the scope of this obligation. As of October 2021, foreigners who will travel between cities, if they are not vaccinated, must submit a negative PCR test result applied in the last 48 hours. Otherwise, foreigners cannot travel long distances by public transport. If you have questions about the subject, you can let us know in the comments section.

  1. Hello
I am Egyptian English teacher and I want to emigrate to Turkey. I am not vaccinated and do not intend to take the vaccine but I can make the pcr test. I needed to know if that is possible to be able to work in Turkey under these conditions.

    1. Hello, non-vaccinated foreigners and Turkish citizens have to have a test twice a week.
