Princess Martha Louise of Norway and her American fiancé Durek Verrett, a self-described shaman, have announced that they will marry next summer.
King Harald V congratulated the couple, saying he was happy to welcome Verrett into his family.
The princess relinquished her royal duties last year to pursue her alternative medicine business with her fiancé.
Verrett, who claims that cancer is a choice and sells medallions online that are said to prevent Covid-19, is known for promoting false medical practices.
