Porsche Renews Its 60-Year-Old Logo

With the increase in the use of electric cars, automobile brands have started to highlight their identities by changing their logos. German automotive giant Porsche is one of the latest brands to participate in this change process.
Celebrating its 75th anniversary, Porsche renewed its logo this year. Founded in the 1930s, the company had previously changed its logo in 1952, 1954, 1963, 1973, 1994 and 2008. Changes made in the past included minor touches like today.
In the new logo, the embossed back texture has been made flatter, while the dotted reliefs in the red areas have been transformed into honeycomb texture. The prancing horse in the middle has been made more distinctive and aggressive, and the “Stuttgart” lettering has also returned more prominently.

On the other hand, Porsche entered the electric car market with the Taycan model. The Taycan was launched in 2020 and has generated quite a good income for the company.
