World-famous American singer and actress Miley Cyrus’ new single “Flowers” released on January 13 broke a record on Spotify.
After the song with sarcastic lyrics that Shakira wrote for her ex, another move came from Miley Cyrus. The singer, who is thought to be a reference to his ex-wife Liam Hemsworth with his new song “Flowers”, broke a record on Spotify.
100 MILLION VIEWS A WEEK
Reinforcing this claim with the words “I can love me better than you” in the song he released on his ex-wife’s birthday, the singer broke a Spotify record with 100 million streams in a week.
Spotify announced on January 20 that the song broke the record for the most streamed song in a week. For the first time in Spotify history, a song has been listened to more than 100 million times in seven days. “Flowers” surpassed K-Pop group BTS’s “Butter” with 99.37 million streams in its first week.
The popular couple married in 2018 after ten years of resentment but decided to divorce in 2020.
