Is There Any Legal Deadline for Application of International Protection in Turkey?

Application of international protection in Turkey gives foreigners the right to stay in the country legally. The legal right to stay obtained as a result of the international protection application continues until a rejection decision is taken as a result of the evaluation to be made about the application, and no deportation decision will be taken during this process. Again, the foreigner will not be requested to go to a country where he will not be safe during this period. In addition, until the application is finalized, foreigners can benefit from various public services such as education and health in Turkey. International protection applications are made to the Provincial Directorate of Migration Management in the provinces where the foreigner resides.

In addition, there is no legal time limit in order to apply for international protection in Turkey. However, it is in their own interest for foreigners to apply for international protection as soon as possible after their arrival in Turkey and to be registered legally.
