How to cancel a work permit ?
Employers who want to cancel foreign employee’s work permit must enter to work permit system by log in to the e-Government portal, upload the petition we have given below and end the process by clicking cancel work permit button.
The petition should be filled completely. If you have a work permit card, you should send it to the address below by post or delivered by hand.

You could make de-registration of foreign employee from Social Security system on the submission date of petition to the Ministry of Labour, or once you get a confirmation email from Ministry of Labour in regards of work permit cancellation.

Please be informed that work permit cancellation request could be made by the user who applied for work permit on behalf of the employer. User should enter to the portal via turkiye.gov.tr and choose the employer whose employee’s work permit will be cancelled.
After selecting the employer from the records whose employee’s work permit will be cancelled, you should click on “Sonuçlanmış Başvurular” which is on the right side of menu.
On new page you should choose “İzin sonrası İşlemler”
When the relevant application is selected, click on “İzin Sonlandırma” button.
When the relevant button is clicked, after clicking on “anladım” the message that comes on the newly opened page, click on “Dosya Yükleme” button.
By clicking on “Dosya Yükleme” you can select you PDF file. Only PDF files can be uploaded in the system. The page size of the file to be uploaded should be maximum 600 KB and the maximum file size in total should not exceed 3600 KB. PDF documents must be created with Adobe Applications in PDF 1.4 and above standard.
After clicking the button “Kaydet” and signing with e-signature, request for work permit cancellation of the relevant application is delivered to the Ministry of Labour online. We would like to inform you that there is no need to sent any petition to the Ministry of Labour.
