Endangered Stag Beetle Spotted in Elazig

The 6-scalloped stag beetle, which is known to live only in the Amanos Mountains of Hatay in Turkey and has financial value in some countries, especially in Japan, was seen in the Alacakaya district of Elazig.

Because the insect is different, İdris Arkin, who took it and took pictures of it and then left it in its natural environment, learned that it was a stag beetle by doing research on the internet.

Stating that the insect he took his photographs was about 5-6 centimeters long, Arkin stated that he took the photo with his hand because it caught his attention, and then released it back to nature.
