Elon Musk Bids For All of Twitter!
Elon Musk, who bought 9.2 percent of Twitter a few weeks ago, now has an eye on the entire company. Musk said he could buy Twitter for $54.2 per share. Musk is currently Twitter’s largest shareholder.
In a statement to the US Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC), Musk offered to buy 100 percent of Twitter shares, stating that his share in Twitter reached 9.1 percent and the number of shares reached 73 million 115 thousand as of April 13.
He Wants To Buy For 42 Billion Dollars
Musk, who offered Twitter $54.20 per share, said in his letter, “This is my best and last offer.” Twitter’s share price was around $45 recently. Musk, which has a total market value of $ 36.7 billion, wants to buy it with a valuation of $ 42 billion.
Twitter Stocks Fly
Elon Musk also emphasized that if his offer is rejected, he will reconsider his position as a shareholder on Twitter. Twitter shares rose 13.6 percent in pre-session trading after Musk, who worked with Morgan Stanley for his non-binding offer, announced.
