Tragic Life Story
Dilan Polat’s father had an illness, he had nervous breakdowns from time to time. Polat’s father, who said that her parents loved each other very much, took his wife’s life one night as a result of a crisis he had.

Polat’s mother had come to see Dilan and her sister Sıla the day before she was killed, kissed them and went into the living room. She and her husband were listening to music on the computer. Dilan went to sleep that night and woke up a few hours later to a noise! She and her sister Sıla went to the living room. Seeing her mother’s lifeless body lying on the floor, Sıla lost consciousness. Polat’s sister was crying. Dilan called her aunt. Her father had also shot at Dilan’s aunt’s house during the crisis. After 15 minutes the police and ambulance arrived. Family elders took Polat, who was only 10 years old, and her siblings to her aunt’s house.
What Happened Then?
Polat’s father went to prison. Dilan and her siblings were now living with her aunt. While at her aunt’s house, she met her current husband Engin Polat. Engin’s family was not a wealthy family at the time, but Dilan loved Engin and wanted to marry him. Her uncle supported her financially and helped Engin with his work.
Dilan was working as a birth photographer and she loved her job. Engin became interested in trade. After a while Engin’s business went bad and they went bankrupt.
Dilan’s father left Dilan and her sister Sıla a house each. They sold those houses and opened a beauty center. Dilan Polat’s beauty center adventure started like this. Nowadays, she runs beauty centers with branches in Turkey and Dubai and makes a name for herself with her luxurious life. In addition to all these, she recently released a pop song. His published song managed to become one of the most listened in a short time.

Dilan Polat Arrested
Twelve of the 18 suspects, including the couple Engin and Dilan Polat, against whom an investigation was launched by the Anatolian Chief Public Prosecutor’s Office on charges of “Prevention of Laundering Proceeds of Crime, opposition to the Tax Procedure Law and the Law on Betting on Football and Other Sports Competitions and Regulation of Games of Chance”, were arrested. Those arrested were brought to Marmara Closed Penal Institution in Silivri under wide security measures.
