The number of detentions increased to 9 in the studies carried out for the suspects who defrauded American filmmaker Lori Etta Taub for 3 million dollars. Lori Etta Taub, who lives in America, met someone named Alex Quin on social media. Quin introduced himself to Lori Etta Taub as an American citizen living in Turkey.

$3 Million

The talks that started between the two soon became more frequent. Meanwhile, Alex Quin began guiding Taub in areas where he could invest. Stating that if he deposits money in the accounts he directed to Lori Ette Taub, he will get it back with interest in a short time, Alex Quin told the American woman to invest in some crypto wallet accounts. Taub, who invested about 3 million dollars with his advice because he trusted Quin, could not get his money back despite the time passed. Suspecting the situation, Taub came to Turkey. Learning that he was defrauded here, Taub went to the prosecutor’s office and filed a complaint. Following Taub’s complaint, four suspects, including Nigerian Cyril Amechi Enebeli, who introduced himself as American citizen Alex Quin, were caught in the operation carried out the other day. Continuing their work, the police caught and detained 5 more people who were found to be committing fraud. The number of detentions rose to 9. The suspects were referred to the courthouse after their proceedings.
