Two Young Girls Hug Each Other And Jump From 15th Floor In Konya
In Konya, İlayda Ç. and Latife Nur Ş. ended their lives by jumping from the roof of a 15-story building after sending a suicide message to their lovers. While the moment of the incident was recorded on security cameras, police launched an investigation.
Yesterday around 23.50, Ilayda Ç. and Latife Nur Ş. climbed the roof of the 15-storey building in the 5th block of the complex they entered in Yeni Şehir neighborhood of central Meram district. Ilayda Ç. and Latife Nur Ş. stated that they would commit suicide and sent their location to their lovers’ cell phones, then hugged each other and let themselves into the void. Two young women jumped from a height of tens of meters and crashed on the concrete floor.
Prayer Rug Found Next To Their Bags
While the moment of the incident was reflected in the security camera recordings, the residents of the site who realized the situation informed the police and health teams. The paramedics who arrived at the address determined that İlayda Ç. and Latife Nur Ş. died. Police found a bag, coat and prayer rug belonging to the two young girls during an investigation on the roof.
The site management and residents stated that they did not know the two young girls who ended their lives by jumping from the building and that they entered the building from the site garden by talking loudly. The investigation into the incident is ongoing.
