Turkey’s Most Venomous Snake Spotted in Tunceli
The viper, which is known to be enough to kill a person even with a single bite, lives in Eastern and Southeastern Anatolia, in the Eastern Mediterranean Region, in areas where the habitat is suitable. These endangered reptiles can live in areas up to 1,500 meters in height.
The big viper, which has been very rare until now, was seen in the Erkalkan village of Cemisgezek in Tunceli. The snake seen on the tree was recorded by Tulgay Dashan with his mobile phone.
Tulgay Dashan, who is content with just shooting and watching the video of the snake without harming it, although he knows that it is a poisonous species, said, “There are a lot of people who see this type of snake in our region this year. The natural balance of life. Whether it is poisonous or non-poisonous, we should not harm.”
