Turkey ranked 48th in the UN’s Human Development Index report
In the United Nations Human Development Index report, Turkey entered the “very high human development” category for the third time in a row and ranked 48th out of 191 countries. Development In All Three Dimensions Of The Index Between 1990-2021
According to the report, which is based on a long and healthy life, access to information and a decent standard of living, progress has been made in all three dimensions of the human development index between 1990-2021 in Turkey. Expectation in Turkey is 8.3 years, average education period. 4.2 years and education time increased by 9.3 years. Gross national product (GNP) per capita increased by 139 percent in the same period.
Switzerland Is At The Top
Switzerland ranked first in the human development index ranking. This country was followed by Norway, Iceland, Hong Kong (China), Australia, Denmark, Sweden, Ireland, Germany and the Netherlands. The UK ranked 18th, Japan 19th, the USA 21st and China 79th on the list.
