THY Plane Made an Emergency Landing Due to Alcoholic Passenger!

Indian police detained the person who set off the riot

The plane of Turkish Airlines, which was on the Istanbul-Singapore flight, made an emergency landing in India after an alleged drunk passenger went into a frenzy and attacked the cabin crew.

The Ukrainian national passenger, who was on the Turkish Airlines (THY) flight TK54 with 345 passengers and reported to be intoxicated, broke out for an unknown reason during the trip.

EMERGENCY LANDING REQUEST FROM PILOT

After the passenger attacked the cabin crew who warned her, the captain pilot of the plane declared that she was an “illegal passenger” and requested an emergency landing from India’s Chennai Airport Tower.

INDIA POLICE RECEIVED THE PASSENGER FROM THE AIRCRAFT

The passenger, who caused an outburst on the plane that landed at the airport without any problems, was taken off the plane in the company of the Indian police. After a delay of approximately 2 hours, the THY plane departed for Singapore to complete its flight.

  1. I happened to be on this flight and the information provided here is not entirely accurate. The Ukrainian passenger was not intoxicated, he was clearly having a nervous breakdown and had severe mental issues at the moment, so he required medical care and attention instead of armed police forces.
