Threads Launches Two Anticipated New Features
Meta has started rolling out new features to Threads. The company started the week with two new features to its platform. Here are the details!
Threads, Meta’s X (formerly Twitter) rival text-based app, is rolling out the ability to see posts you like in a new update.
The company began testing the new feature in the Android beta last week, and Meta began rolling it out to all users at the end of last week.
Users can find the posts they like in Settings > Your Likes, accessible from their profile page.
New ‘Media Quality’ and ‘Follower Rank’ Features Also Available
As well as the ability to look at liked posts, Meta has introduced a new media upload quality option, accessible via Settings > Account > Media Quality, which allows you to upload higher quality images and videos.
Threads also now allows users to sort their follower lists by ‘Most recent first’ and ‘Oldest first’.
While these are nice little updates to the app, Mark Zuckerberg said last week that some of the most requested features, such as post search and a web version, would be coming in the next few weeks.
