They Are Creating A Fake Site For Togg: Scammers Caught
Scammers accused of setting up a fake site for Togg pre-orders have been caught. Details are here!
The pre-orders for the Togg T10X, which started out as Turkey’s domestic car, started in the past weeks. The first Togg owners were determined by the draw held in the past days. A scam attempt during the pre-order process “No more!” said.
The people who set up the site to defraud citizens who want to pre-order the Togg T10X were determined as a result of the work done by the security teams.
Caught Suspects
The fraud attempt on “togg.satisonbasvuru.com”, a domain name very similar to the site where Togg pre-ordered, was detected by the security forces in a short time.
After the closure of the site, suspicions focused on Mobil2 Digital Electronic Limited Company within the scope of the investigation carried out by the Anti-Cybercrime Branch.
Upon the complaints of the citizens, it was determined that the money paid was transferred to the accounts of this company and the owner of the company was caught. The person, who was transferred to the courthouse after his interrogation, was arrested by the court he was brought to and sent to prison.
