The Number of Bluesky Users Exceeded 1 Million!

The number of users of Bluesky has exceeded 1 million. So what does the application owe this success to? Here is the company’s growth process and more!
Bluesky, founded by Jack Dorsey, former CEO of Twitter (now X), has reached 1 million users as of July. The app attracted more attention after Elon Musk bought Twitter.

There are many reasons for the increase in Bluesky’s number of users. The company’s separation from Twitter and its transformation into an independent application is of course directly proportional to the decisions taken by Elon Musk.

Growing Slowly!

If you remember, Elon Musk removed the blue checkmarks after he bought Twitter. Shortly afterwards, users started to look for alternative applications after limiting the number of tweets.

Twitter’s former CEO Jack Dorsey founded Bluesky as an alternative to the application, which led to an increase in the number of users. Not content with this, the company also drew a strategic path for itself, which increased the positive impact.

Rose Wang, Bluesky’s chief strategy and operations officer, shared a screenshot showing that the platform has surpassed 1 million users.

Taking it one step at a time, Bluesky’s waitlist and offering access through invitations sent by existing users has allowed it to reach more users over time.

Bluesky’s approach to carefully and safely onboarding users suggests that the app could soon grow even more.

The app is growing in popularity, attracting users not only from X but also from other apps.
