The Long-Awaited Snowfall Has Begun in Istanbul

While temperatures dropped in Istanbul, snowfall began in the higher parts of the city.

Snowfall showed its effect in the higher parts of the Aydos Forest within the borders of Kartal, Pendik, Sultanbeyli and Sancaktepe. Due to the rain, the roofs of the surrounding houses and cars were covered with snow.

MIXED SNOW HAS BEEN EFFECTIVE IN SOME DISTRICTS

In addition, sleet and occasional snowfall began to be seen in Üsküdar, Ümraniye and Beykoz, which are located in the high parts of the Anatolian side.

BEAUTIFUL SCENES CREATED

On the other hand, while the snowfall creates beautiful views on Çamlıca Hill, it is expected that the precipitation will continue intermittently.

Here are the snow scenes shot in Istanbul;
