Swiss Consulate General in Turkey Closed!

Breaking news… The Consulate General of Switzerland is closed. It was stated that the Consulate General was closed for security reasons.

After the Netherlands, Germany, France, Belgium and England, the Swiss Consulate General was also closed.

In the statement made by the Consulate General of Switzerland, “For security reasons, the Consulate General of Switzerland will be closed until further notice. Appointments for visa and passport procedures will be canceled. Thank you for your understanding.”

After closing its consulates in Istanbul on the grounds of “security concerns”, Canada recently warned its citizens by declaring that there was a threat of a terrorist attack in Turkey. The Ministry of Interior was criticized for not making a statement.

Interior Minister Süleyman Soylu made statements on the subject. Soylu said, “America and the West do not want us to be independent and free in this geography. They have set the threshold of starting a new psychological war in Turkey in a day we set the target of 60 million tourists over DAESH for 3-4 days.”
