Storm warning from Istanbul Governorate: It will start this evening and continue until Tuesday
Istanbul Governorate issued a storm warning. In a statement made by the governor’s office, it was announced that the storm is expected to start from this evening and last until Tuesday morning. On the other hand, the wind, which is expected to increase its effect from the east and northeast directions, is expected to reach up to 75 kilometers per hour.
In the warning made by the Istanbul Governorate, the following statements were made: “It is estimated that the wind in the Western Black Sea will increase its effect from the eastern and northeastern directions after this evening hours and blow as a storm.”
STATEMENT FROM METEOROLOGY
In a statement made by the General Directorate of Meteorology, it was reported that it is estimated that it will increase its effect from eastern and northeastern directions after this evening hours in the Western Black Sea and blow as 5 to 7, sometimes 8 force (50-75 km/h) wind.
WILL LOSE ITS EFFECT ON TUESDAY
The storm is expected to lose its effect in the early morning hours of Tuesday, September 19.
