Çambaşı Winter Sports and Ski Center, located in the Çambaşı Plateau at an altitude of 2,000 in the Kabadüz district of Ordu, opened its doors to ski lovers after the heavy rain that was effective in the region two weeks ago.
Ordu Ski Club Vice President Fevzi Turan told Anadolu Agency (AA) that ski lovers not only come from Ordu but also from abroad to the facility, which was opened in 2017. It was emphasized that approximately 500 thousand people benefited from the facility in 5 years.
Turan, who is also a ski instructor, explained that there are 2 chairlifts and 10 tracks in the facility, which is built on 650 acres, and the total of the tracks is 17 thousand 250 meters. Ebru Özge Uzun, who came from Giresun, stated that she went to Çambaşı to ski whenever she had the opportunity, “I also had the opportunity to take ski lessons. ARTVIN SKI CENTER OPENED THE SEASON WITH NATURAL SNOW
Atabarı Ski Center, located at the foot of Mersivan Mountain at an altitude of 2,200, 18 kilometers from the center of Artvin, among spruce, fir and pine trees, has been welcoming nature and ski lovers since January 8. The center, which has been operating under the Artvin Youth and Sports Directorate since 2009 and consists of 2 tracks with a total length of 1310 meters, a chair lift of 595 meters and a chairlift, is attracting ski lovers from Artvin and surrounding cities. 159 meters.
