Short History of Siirt

In 3000 and 2000 BC, the southeastern Taurus separated two cultural areas from each other. In the south, there was a developed agricultural culture in Mesopotamia, and in the north, a culture based on primitive agriculture and animal husbandry in the high plateau of eastern Anatolia.
