The police intervened in the group gathered on Istiklal Street on the occasion of the 10th anniversary of the Gezi protests. It was seen that the barricades set up by the police teams were kicked at the moments when the blood pressure rose.
The Communist Party of Turkey carried out an action on Istiklal Street on the occasion of the 10th anniversary of the Gezi protests. Police intervened in the demonstration where slogans such as “Everywhere Taksim, Everywhere Resistance”, “Don’t give in, take care of the country”, “This is just the beginning, continue the struggle”.

Making a press statement after the demonstration, TKP Istanbul Provincial Chairman Senem Doruk İnam said, “We will not give up on our country and we will govern this country as it deserves.
