Philips To Lay Off Thousands of People
Philips, the world-famous electronics company based in the Netherlands, is downsizing worldwide to cut costs. The company announced that it will lay off 6,000 people. The electronics giant laid off 4,000 jobs in October last year.
In the statement made by Philips regarding its sales in 2022, it was stated that sales decreased and the company made a loss of 1.6 billion.

In the statement, it was stated that the company will cut 6,000 jobs worldwide in 2023. It has been recorded that 1,100 of them are in the capital of the Netherlands, Amsterdam and Eindhoven.
