According to the statement made by Kocaeli Metropolitan Municipality, during the control flight of the environmental plane of the municipality for the control and inspection of the Izmit Bay, it was determined that there was oil-derived pollution in the sea in the Yalova shipyards region.
The Coast Guard Command initiated the necessary actions against the floating crane that caused pollution, and 1 million 333 thousand fines were issued.
