Nusret Gökce Donated 25 Million TL For Earthquake Victims
The world-famous butcher Nusret Gökce, who was not involved in the “Turkey One Heart” campaign, announced that he had donated 25 million TL to AFAD in the video he posted on his social media account. Gökçe called for help by calling out to the world in his post.
Aid campaigns were launched after the earthquakes that occurred in Kahramanmaraş, the epicenter of which caused destruction in 10 provinces. Nusret Gökçe, who was not involved in the Turkey One Heart campaign, which was broadcast jointly on television channels the previous evening, announced how much he donated from his social media account.

Nusret Gökçe, who set up kitchens and distributed food to the regions after the earthquakes, said that he donated 25 million TL to AFAD in the video he published on his Instagram account with 50.9 million followers. Addressing his followers from abroad, Nusret Gökce said, “Yes. I am calling out to the whole world from here. That day is today. Our pain is great. It is time for unity. For our Turkey.” As Nusret brand, we donate 25 million TL to AFAD. “Come on, Turkey. Hand in hand, heart to heart. We are together. We are Turkey,” he said.
