‘Muslims Shouldn’t Marry Hindus’ Protest in India
Hundreds of people in India protested the marriage of Muslims to Hindu women, demanding the introduction of anti-religious laws.
According to NDTV’s report, protesters held a demonstration claiming that Muslim men persuaded Hindu women to convert through marriage.
Activists of right-wing groups chanted slogans against Muslim-Hindu marriages at the rally in Mumbai, demanding the introduction of anti-religious laws and demanding that land grabs be stopped in the name of religion.
Leaders and members of Hindu nationalist groups Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh and World Hindu Council, which are accused of inciting religious hatred against Muslims, attended the demonstration organized by the umbrella group of Hindu right-wing organizations Sakal Hindu Samaj.
