Microsoft Introduces New Xbox Controller Color: Velocity Green
A new one has been added to the dozens of different color ranges of the Xbox controller. Details are here!
There are colors that instantly evoke some associations when you see them. Although Xbox has long used the color green as part of its branding, it has not officially sold a dark green S/X Series wireless controller until now. The new color controller, officially called velocity green, is available for $65.
The front of the new controller is almost entirely green, and the hybrid D-pad and control buttons are black. Triggers and bumpers are also black, while the rear case is white.
Velocity Green Xbox Controller Coming
The controller offers up to 40 hours of battery life and has textured grips in areas like the triggers and rear case. It has a dedicated share button to share screenshots or gameplay videos of games with your friends and can also be paired with PCs and mobile devices.
Microsoft offers custom controller colors through the Xbox Design Lab, but this new option looks perfect for gamers who (mostly) love the color green.
If you don’t like green, Microsoft has released a number of other wireless controllers in the colors Electric Volt, Deep Pink, Shock Blue, and Pulse Red.
