On the 84th anniversary of the death of the Great Leader Mustafa Kemal Ataturk, life came to a standstill in all of Turkey. At 09:05, sirens sounded, flags were lowered to half-mast, all citizens stood in silence. Drivers who cut off contact with the July 15 Martyrs Bridge and all streets and streets got out of their vehicles.

At 09:05, the citizens of Çanakkale fell into silence with the sound of sirens. Citizens also commemorated Atatürk at sea on the Kilitbahir-Çanakkale ferry.
