Avsar Campus is the main campus of Kahramanmaras Sutcu Imam University. Many faculties and institues are located in the main campus such as; Education, Science and Literature, Fine Arts, Economics and Administrative Sciences, Theology, Engineering and Architecture, Forestry, Medicine, Dentistry and Agriculture Faculties. There are also the School of Foreign Languages, the School of Physical Education and Sports, the Social Sciences, Science and Health Sciences Institutes and the Health Practice and Research Hospital.

In Kahramanmaras Sutcu Imam University Main Campus, the best service is tried to provided for the students with smart classrooms, lecture theaters, conference halls, laboratories equipped with the latest technology, sports facilities, internet halls, libraries and student cafeterias.

Accommodation:

Student dormitories affiliated with the Higher Education Credit and Hostels Institution are located in the campuses of Kahramanmaras Sutcu Imam University. Also, it is possible to find the state dormitories in the city center and the districts of the city. Transportation:

There are 70,000 books in the collection. Approximately 67,000 of these are transferred to computer environment and presented to the service of readers. The books are arranged on shelves according to the open shelf system.

There are also journals in the collection. A separate section is reserved for the journals. Journals can be scanned on computers from the journal title, volume, year, issue, date and contents page. The collection includes 4500 master’s theses made at Kahramanmaras Sutcu Imam University. As of November 2010, all of the theses were started to be available in full text in electronic environment.
