Istanbul Film Festival is looking for young jury candidates
Films in the Young Masters section of the Istanbul Film Festival will be evaluated by a jury consisting of film students aged 18-25.
“Young Masters”, one of the sections of the Istanbul Film Festival organized by the Istanbul Foundation for Culture and Arts (İKSV), was awarded by the Nespresso Young Jury this year. The jury, which will consist of film students aged 18-25 residing in Turkey, will evaluate the films in the Young Masters section. Jury applications can be made between January 30 and February 13.
Young Masters, one of the traditional sections of the Istanbul Film Festival, which turned into a competitive section last year, is receiving an award this year as well. The jury will present the Young Master Award to the director of the film. The Young Master Award, supported by a monetary award of three thousand euros, will be given to the winning director at the closing and award ceremony on the evening of April 18.
Young jury members, who are one of the official juries of the festival, will have full accreditation by the festival, and as future cinema professionals, they will have the opportunity to participate and experience all the events of the festival. meeting with other members of the jury, film professionals and the guests of the festival, enlivening the festival.
Young jury members will be selected based on the film they will send to the festival and a half-page article in which they state their passion for the festival and why they want to be a member of the jury.
