GQ Turkey Men of the Year 2022 Awards found their owners for the 10th time in Turkey last night. While awards were given in many categories, Berk Oktay received the Screen Face of the Year Award, Uraz Kaygılaroğlu received the Best Actor Award, and Merve Dizdar received the Woman of the Year Award. Dazzling with her elegance, Ece Sükan greeted and chatted with famous names at night.
BERK OKTAY ELECTED THE FACE OF THE YEAR
Handsome actor Berk Oktay, who received the Screen Face of the Year Award, thanked his family and his wife Yıldız Çağrı Atiksoy in his speech, “Good evening everyone, it is a great honor for me to receive such an award in 2018. ICON OF THE YEAR: KENAN DOĞULU
Famous singer Kenan Doğulu, who was chosen as the Icon of the Year, received his award from his wife, Beren Saat, whom he married 7 years ago. AWESOME ACHIEVEMENT OF THE YEAR: AMADEUS
The Outstanding Achievement of the Year Award went to Amadeus. Alışık from the trio of Kerem Alışık, Dilan Çiçek Deniz and Tansu Biçer, who took the stage to receive the award from Nurgül Yeşilçay, talked about the importance of theater and thanked everyone who contributed. Dilan Çiçek Deniz and Tansu Biçer, who were included in the game this year, also thanked all their teammates.
WOMEN OF THE YEAR AWARD WAS MERVE DIZDAR
Merve Dizdar, who was deemed worthy of the Woman of the Year Award at the night, received her award from her co-star Şükrü Özyıldız in the Alice Musical. Inviting Dizdar to the stage by saying “You are a wonderful detail”, Özyıldız admitted that he missed his own play while watching Dizdar on stage. Dizdar thanked the women who touched his life in his speech and wished 2023 to be a good year without violence.
COMEDY ACTOR OF THE YEAR: ÇAĞLAR ÇORUMLU
Çağlar Çorumlu, who was chosen as the Comedy Player of the Year, received the award from Gülse Birsel. Referring to the character of Nazlı played by Erşan Kuneri in the TV series, Çorumlu said, “I was waiting for the best female award for Nazlı.
PLAYER OF THE YEAR: URAZ KAYGILAROĞLU
Uraz Kaygılaroğlu, who received the Player of the Year award from Cem Yılmaz on the glorious night, said, “Thank you very much, it is a very valuable award for me. We had very difficult days, I was very scared. I realized that most of the things that I was upset and angry about in daily life were empty.”
TEAM OF THE YEAR: MADRIGAL
