Google Chrome’s New Update Has Arrived: Keeping Passwords Easier Now!

Google makes password management much easier and safer with the new update it brought to Chrome. Here are all the details about the update!

Google is working on a major security update that will bring many new features to Chrome for desktop and iOS.

Some of these features have now reached desktop users, and the most notable among them is, of course, the company’s new Password Manager software.

Password Manager will have a new place in Chrome’s Settings menu. Users can manage login credentials or set security settings here, but if you prefer a more direct approach, you’ll be able to create a desktop shortcut for Google Password Manager.

Other Features Coming to Google Chrome

The tech giant is also adding the feature to write notes for certain entries. For example, let’s say you have multiple accounts for a website but have trouble remembering every detail. By clicking the wrench icon in Chrome’s address bar, you can open a context menu and view your notes with these details. Clicking the pencil icon allows you to edit.

The company will also allow users to export passwords from third-party administrators to Chrome on desktop. The Google Help webpage states that users should convert their credentials to a .csv file before loading anything in the browser. Detailed instructions on how to do this can be found on the Chrome Help website.
